Prepared the full migration of endpoints to Azure Intune for a client, with all configurations and technical work completed. Though the client did not proceed with the execution, everything was fully set for a seamless migration.

  • Planning and Assessment: Conducted an in-depth assessment of the client’s hardware, software, and security needs. Developed a detailed migration strategy, including timelines, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
  • Endpoint Inventory and Readiness: Gathered a full inventory of client devices and ensured compatibility with Azure Intune. Standardized configurations and prepared all endpoints for the migration.
  • Azure Intune Setup: Configured Intune policies for device enrollment, security, and compliance. Created custom profiles to ensure uniform settings across departments, covering Wi-Fi, VPN, and application management.
  • Microsoft Autopilot Preparedness: Configured Microsoft Autopilot for automated, zero-touch enrollment. All devices were prepped to be provisioned automatically with the correct settings and policies once migration was initiated.
  • Security and Compliance Configurations: Set up security policies, including conditional access and encryption, to align with organizational standards. All security measures were ready to be deployed upon execution.
  • Training and Documentation: Developed comprehensive training materials for IT administrators and users, including step-by-step guides and troubleshooting documentation. Prepared to deliver training sessions once migration began.
  • Testing and Validation: Completed full testing and validation of endpoint configurations, ensuring all devices were ready for Intune enrollment with verified security and application settings.

Final Decision: Although the migration was not executed, the organization decided to defer the transition to the new environment due to strategic concerns regarding timing, resource allocation, and potential risks. All aspects were meticulously prepared, ensuring a smooth transition could occur when required.

Despite the postponement, the project highlighted the value of modernization, refined operational workflows, and enhanced the organization’s readiness for future migrations.
